Scholarship Overview 

Scholarship objectives and recipients The purpose of the foundation is to contribute to the promotion of academic research and the development of human resources that will be useful to society by providing overseas study scholarships to university or graduate students who intend to work in business, practical work, or academic research in fields related to cities in the future.

-Those who will study abroad for a period of six months to two years (excluding language study abroad) 
-Those who can confirm their study abroad destinations by the end of May 2025 
who intend to work in business, practical work, or academic research in fields related to cities in the future (regardless of faculty or major)

” section.Please download the prescribed form from the foundation’s website.https://www.obayashifoundation.org/students/Noteson preparing application documents:Obayashi Foundation 2025 Study Abroad Scholarship Notes on preparing application documents*The “Study Abroad Scholarship Student Recommendation Form (Form 2)” must be sealed by the faculty.*Please leave the bottom margin of the “Study Abroad Scholarship Student Recommendation Form (Form 2)  Submit the text/sentence (where you write the representative’s name, etc.) blank. Doshisha University will fill in and stamp the necessary information. 

On-campus application period Wednesday, February 12, 2025 – Wednesday, April 2, 2025, 5:00 p.m. (Strictly observed) 
*Please note that this is different from the foundation’s application period.

Imadegawa Campus: Fusokan 1F, Kyotanabe Campus: Shigyokan 1F 
*If you wish to apply for this scholarship, you must submit your application documents through Doshisha University. (You cannot send application documents directly to the Foundation.)
